Take advantage of one of the many outstanding resources in your school which can help you gain the necessary skills to successfully embark on a rewarding career of your choice.  Check out some of the programs below which are currently offered in the WCCUSD.

 ROP Programs Minimize

REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL PROGRAM OR CENTER (ROP)

ROP offers specialized training to high school juniors and seniors.  Courses are located at special centers, high schools and community colleges.  Classes are usually offered in two or three-hour blocks during the day or evening, and on weekends.  ROP is a great way to experiement with different careers and learn valuable skills.  Employers hire ROP graduates because of the quality of their training.  (This usually means a higher salary!)  TechFutures Minimize

TechFutures is a two-year program where students learn advanced technology skills in web design and development, database design and development, and internet networking.  Students may be able to utilize the skills they learn to earn money designing and building websites, databases, and providing desktop and networking support for organizations around the Bay Area.  TechFutures students can also earn money as Teaching Assistants and through paid internships at world-renown technology companies such as Intel.
